DUO SONUS

Our journey together began as master and apprentice in 2013. Many, many lessons, failures, successes (for both teacher and student), and collaborations later, DUO SONUS was officially formed in the Spring of 2022. On a road trip to play and teach together for a week in Oklahoma, the idea for a first commission and recording project was hatched. Odyssey for Two Horns and Fixed Media, by James Naigus, premiered on 1/1/2023. This epic journey through sound will serve as the soundtrack to our mission and the title track to our first album.
